Hello Again!

2/7/2025

Well hello, Internet! It's been awhile.

Since we last met, a pandemic has wreaked havoc upon the entire world. It forced many of us to pivot, and I am not exempt from this change. With the shutdown of many venues, spaces, etc, and due to some pervasive health annoyances, I have had to take a hiatus from music. My tutoring business has had to also go a bit on the back burner, though not completely. I have been working with some long-time students, and I have been writing and workshopping ideas. Now I am at a point where I can talk a bit about it all.

I think where I have gone wrong in self-promotion in the past was that I take myself sometimes very seriously, which leads to a HUGE issue with imposter syndrome and not finishing projects. However, one of the things that makes me so good at what I do is that I have a healthy sense of humor and humanity. So while I've been doing some teaching, working in a bowling alley to make up the difference, and making some life changes (like losing Ludwig and Lise, adopting two furry terrors, Fricka and Freia, and getting married!!!), I've been developing educational content, a photography portfolio, a love of cooking within the confines of the autoimmune protocol diet, and embracing my inner quirkiness. I am planning on spending much more time on this site, releasing tutorials. worksheets, and practice, and actually marketing myself a bit. I hope you stick around and support me on my journey to help increase access to knowledge and delight in the little things around us.

Have a great day, and I'll talk to you SOON! I promise!
